How winners are chosen

Each eligible video is scored by a qualified panel, equally on three things:

Uniqueness — have we seen it before? (We've seen a lot.)
Emotional reaction — did the room actually laugh?
Appropriateness — can we feature it across our channels?

Winners are notified by email or phone roughly 30 days after a period closes, and paid by check or PayPal within 90 days. Full details in the Official Contest Rules.
